On our cycle tour, our mission is to ride bikes while exploring neighborhoods, new construction, historic sites, parks, ART installations, and the Greenway. We believe that bikes connect us to our community. Our goal is to create fellowship and friendships that will last a lifetime with a family friendly bike ride each Sunday afternoon. All types of bikes, all types of people are welcome.
We change our routes weekly. Many of our weekly riders have made this an electric bike tour. Each ride ranges from 8-12 miles, traveling over residential roads and Greenway, at an average overall pace of 10-13 mph. We stop for pictures and regroups, and take a break for ice cream, coffee, or pie. All of our tours are led by 100% Volunteers who are passionate about our community and are committed to providing our riders with an authentic and engaging experience. These rides are a partnership between Springdale Bike Club and the Bentonville Church of Christ. Our rides are FREE.
This city bike tour is FREE via the volunteers of the Springdale Bike Club...one of the original bike clubs in NWA. All types of bikes, all types of people welcome to join. We recommend hydration, basic bike repair kit, lights and a helmet. If you can ride 10 miles in an hour, you can do this ride. If doing an electric bike tour, we recommend coming with a fully charged battery.
